Style, Class and Elegance in White

Recent wedding of a fantastic couple, Nancy and Edwin at the Hyatt Regency, Huntington Beach.
Nancy loves bling and crystals so we opted for crystal candle holders, draped crystals and mercury glass accents along with roses, hydrangea, dahlias and my favorite; phaleonopsis orchids spilling from the top! A flawless wedding was coordinated by my friend and colleague Wendy Dahl of Chic Productions and special thanks to the talented Joe Latter Photography for sharing these beautifully captured images with me! chicproductions.com  joelatterphotographer.com

Coming up Coral!

Coral is a fabulous color to use for a modern "pop" to your wedding color scheme. It will combine with many other colors and is appropriate for any season. Winter could be interpreted with gold or silver accents combined with soft creme, white and coral. Spring yields lovely flowers in the lilac and lavender to plum tones. Summer you can go bold with melon tones of watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew. Fall has a myriad of yellow to gold and orange sunset colors to choose from.

Beautiful Baby's Breath

The Montage Resort in Laguna Beach, California was the venue for this beautifully romantic intimate wedding on January 8th.
The bride, Casi,  loved the the fresh, airy look of baby's breath so we created a beautiful backdrop with solid baby's breath as well as 2 large florals at the back of the aisle.
Her bouquet followed the same theme and was just perfect for her. I always comment that "every flower is beautiful, especially if it's used in abundance". The Montage's pastry chef copied the ribbon band from the bride's gown for the cake......stunning! Just goes to show that even standard old time flowers such as carnations and baby's breath can look incredible if used in the right way.

Vintage Chic

Ponte Winery Family Estate in Temecula, Ca set the classic and romantic tone for this vintage inspired wedding of Kate and Sean in November.
The bride, Kate, chose muted tones of pewter, taupe, champagne and creme as her color story.
We combined silver mercury glass accents and vintage chic rhinestone brooches to reflect the soft tones. Flowers used were "Amnesia" roses, silver brunia berries, "Sahara" roses, "Vendela" roses and accents of rust toned amaranthus, blush dinner plate dahlias and creme hydrangea.

Purple Passion

April and Brad's beautiful wedding was held in October at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Ca. The images were photographed by San Diego's True Photography.

I also had the pleasure of creating all the florals for the brother of April a few years ago.

April and her Mom wanted a romantic, lush overall design to coordinate with the club's Spanish architecture. We created florals in the purple, plum and lilac tones with hydrangea, roses, hypericum berries, mokara orchids, hybrid asters, dahlias, spider mums and other seasonal fall blooms. The result speaks for itself!

Autumn's Beauty

October's end was a new beginning for Angela and Anthony at beautiful Rancho Las Lomas.
The images were incredibly captured by Leslie of Click Chicks Photography
and the culinary delights were provided by in house exclusive caterer 24 Carrots.
Angela had been dreaming of her wedding day since she was a little girl and always loved the Fall color scheme of gold, deep reds and orange so we created designs for her with Forever Young and Free Spirit roses, Treasure mini callas, hypericum berries, seeded eucalyptus, coxcomb, coneflower and orchids along with the Fall foliage, Liquid Amber.
Fall has become my favorite time of year for wedding flowers. So many deep, rich tones and textures make designing so much fun!

Hot Fun in the Summertime

This recent wedding of Mary Jospeh and John Swink at Coto de Caza Golf Club was beautifully captured by one of my favorite photographers, Michael Erdkemp of Memories by Michael. I have been working with Michael for many years and he never fails to amaze me with all the details he snaps of my floral creations!
Mary wanted bright "melon" colors to set off the fab coral toned bridesmaids dresses and kick off the start of summer. We chose dahlias, peonies, gloriosa lilies, roses, hypericum berries, anemones, Thai mokara orchids and amaranthus accents. As a surprise I created a floral chandelier which was hung over the grand head table!

This celebration was perfectly coordinated by Jill Watson of The Pampered Bride who we have also had the pleasure of working with for many years.
